As Papua New Guinea approaches its 50th Independence Anniversary, Capital Insurance Group Ltd proudly marked this national milestone with a vibrant client and partner event at our headquarters, Tisa Rua, Port Moresby.

This wasn’t just a celebration—it was a reaffirmation of our purpose. For over 30 years, Capital has grown alongside PNG, evolving from a home-grown insurer into a regional force with branches in Fiji, Vanuatu, Tonga, and the Solomon Islands. Our journey is interwoven with the growth of PNG, and this event reflected our shared resilience, progress, and future ambitions.

The evening was designed to strengthen relationships, celebrate cultural heritage, and reinforce our commitment and vision which is “to empower and protect the dreams of a more resilient Pacific”. It also served as a platform to align with our partners on the next chapter of growth and innovation.

Our Group CEO – Mr. Jeremy Norton is pleased to host a diverse mix of clients, brokers, service providers, board directors and key partners. Their presence underscored the importance of collaboration and trust in driving sustainable impact.

The theme—“Celebrating 50 Years Strong”—came alive through traditional PNG artefacts, music, displays, and locally crafted gifts.

As we honor the past, we’re focused on the future: expanding access to insurance, investing in digital transformation, and deepening our regional footprint. This event was a powerful reminder of the relationships that fuel our mission—and the shared values that will carry us forward.
