About the Role
We are looking for a Claims Officer to join our Claims Team and help us achieve our strategic growth plans. The Claims Officer will play a key role in supporting the Senior Claims officer in the handling and processing of claims related to Fiji operations. This role will be based at our Suva Office in Fiji.
Key responsibilities:
- Effieciency and accurately process insurance claims within established timelines, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date record of claims, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulation;
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, and other stakeholders;
- Assist in genrating required report for analysis and provide regular updates to the Claims Managers;
- Ensure compliance with reulatory requirements and company policies;
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the claims process;
- Support daily operations within the Claims Department.
Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary level of qualification in Administration and/or related field.
- Previous work experience in a similar role within the Insurance Industry will be an added advantage.
- Being an ANZIIF Associate or under the study program is desirable.
- Be able to rapidly grasp new procedures and adapt to change where necessary.
- Possess proven effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Be customer-oriented, punctual with good work ethic and a great team player.
- Computer literate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
