Capital Insurance Group (CIG) have become aware of e-mails, text messages and phone calls claiming to be from employees of Capital Life Insurance Company (CLIC). They claim that the recipients have won cash prizes as a promotional incentives from the company. They request personal information including bank account details, or to pay a certain amount of money before the company can settle the prizes.

CIG and its subsidiaries, including CLIC, is not connected in any way with these activities. These are ‘’phishing’’ scams, and the company will not be held liable for any dealings you may have with the people behind these scams.
