Congratulations to Talita Dobbin (PNGHRI, Fellow) on receiving her Fellow Award from the Papua New Guinea Human Resource Institute (PNGHRI) and for being nominated as a member of the PNGHRI Council!

Talita is currently the Group Head of People and Culture and is part of our Executive Leadership Team (ELT). The Fellow Award is the highest recognition bestowed by the PNGHRI, acknowledging an individual’s contribution to the field of Human Resource in Papua New Guinea and we are excited to celebrate this achievement with Talita and commend her for her dedication and commitment demonstrated in this field. This achievement not only reflects Talita’s individual excellence but also highlights the commitment of Capital Insurance Group in strengthening talent and leadership capability within the organisation.

Additionally, we are also delighted to support Talita as she joins the PNGHRI Council as a member. The Council promotes best practices, professional development, and standards within the HR field in PNG. This appointment serves as a testament to her remarkable leadership abilities and her extensive 14-year experience in driving change and navigation of complexities in HR at both the operational and strategic levels. The invaluable contributions she has made so far undoubtedly played a crucial role in shaping our company’s success. We recognise that this new platform will provide her with a broader scope of influence, allowing her to make a greater impact in the field within PNG.
