Mr. Koisen is the non  – executive Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Capital Insurance Group. He is currently the Group CEO of Teachers Savings and Loan Society Limited and a non – executive director on the Board of Tisa Community Finance Ltd. He has served on various boards which include – Kumul Consolidated Holdings, Credit Corporation, Airlines PNG and National Airports Corporation. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Australian Mutual’s Institute, a Senior Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australia. Mr. Koisen brings with him a wealth of business experiences and knowledge

Sundar Ramamurthy was the Founder & Managing Director of Data Nets Limited. Data Nets Limited was the largest ISP and computer networking company in the Pacific Islands covering both PNG and Fiji. Sundar has significant international experience in Asia, Australia, U.S. and Pacific Markets. Developed and gained considerable experience in dealing with diverse cultures, languages and markets. Following the sale of Data Nets to the Digicel Group in 2010, Sundar was engaged by IPBC (now KCH) for the National Transmission Network in 2012, prior to taking his role as Group CEO to turnaround bmobile-Vodafone in the mobil emarket in PNG and Solomon Islands in late 2013 following the recapitalisation of the company by the PNG Government in mid 2013. He completed the turnaround by early 2017. He is now involved in funding and mentoring new startup ventures, with a focus on new technologies in the mobile banking, secure payments environment and affordable solar markets.

Mark Vele was appointed as a non-executive director to the board of Capital Insurance Group in June 2020. He brings with him over 30 years of experience in general insurance having provided leadership and management in underwriting, loss adjusting, reinsurance and broking across the Pacific including Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Fiji.  He also brings to the board strategic leadership as he is a commissioned officer for the Australian Army and serves as an insurance broker and advisor to corporate and commercial businesses, SMEs, and industry groups. As a former member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIF), Mr Vele adds a great wealth of knowledge and technical expertise of the insurance industry to the board.

Mr Woolcott has over 20 years of experience in the accountancy and finance industry. He was appointed as a new director to the board of Capital Insurance Group in November 2020. He is currently a member of the Certified Practising Accountants of PNG (CPA PNG), a member of the Certified Practising Accountants of Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). Over the years, he has worked as a senior accountant and CFO, chairman of an audit and risk committee, and a director. He holds a bachelor’s degree of Accounting and Business Management from the University of Sunshine Coast.

Moses has been appointed to the Board of Capital Insurance Group Limited on 22 August 2022 having an extensive background in Law and holds a Masters of Law obtained from the Monash University of Victory, Australia. He is also the Principal Owner of Albatross Law firm.

He had served on various boards which include Maybank, BCL Savings and Loans Society, Comrade Trustee Services Limited, MTSL Toyota Tsusho (PNG) Limited, and TISA Community Finance Limited. Mr. Koiri brings a wealth of law and business experience and knowledge.

Des is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Pacifund, a financial services firm. He is also President of the MSME Council Inc. and a Councilor with St. John’s Ambulance.

Des has accumulated a wealth of skill, knowledge and experience over 15 years in all sectors of corporate management, from Accounting to Audit, Corporate Affairs to Operations, Product Development, Sales and Marketing and Executive Management. He has mastered financial modelling and Credit management from years in the Banking sector. He has experience with managing Government, State Owned Enterprises, Statutory Authorities relations including Foreign Diplomatic relation (foreign missions), Suppliers and Customers.

Des holds a Bachelor of Business in Management & Accounting from the Pacific Adventist University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance and is working toward his Masters in Business Administration. He has also a full CPA and has completed PNGID Director Courses.

Ms. Alofa Aiva Ekivaki has an extensive background of over 30 years in various professional roles. She has worked as a career diplomat for PNG, a private legal practitioner, a barrister and solicitor, and a former Fiji Resident Magistrate. She is skilled as a mediator and has worked as a political analyst and consultant in business, trade, and investment facilitation between Fiji and Papua New Guinea and vice versa. Ms. Ekivaki was appointed as Company Director of Capital Insurance Limited, Fiji in 2022.

Ms. Ekivaki holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of the South Pacific (USP) in Fiji, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the same institution. She also possesses a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Papua New Guinea, along with a Certificate of Admission to the Fiji High Court in the Republic of the Fiji Islands and a Certificate of Admission to the National and Supreme Court of Papua New Guinea. Additionally, she has a Certificate of Legal Training from the Legal Training Institute in Port Moresby, NCD, Papua New Guinea.

Mr. Muralee Siva is a Senior Executive with more than 30 years of experience operating in highly competitive industries. As a successful CEO, he has a demonstrable track record in business transformation, forming and leading high-performing teams, and delivering successful outcomes to shareholders, while also reporting to fully functional Boards.
He has held a Non-Executive Director role in Capital Insurance Group for five years, where he served as an Audit Risk and Compliance Committee Chairman. Additionally, he has taken on accountable officer/director roles in highly regulated industries such as insurance, aviation, construction, and telecommunications in Australia and Papua New Guinea. Finally, having worked and lived in Papua New Guinea since 1995, Mr. Siva has strong relationships within diverse circles in the country.

Sunil Pokharel is an esteemed banking professional with over 33 years of experience in the industry. He is well-known for exceeding performance targets and championing the FAST strategy model. With a keen interest in FinTech and emerging technologies, Sunil specializes in digital finance, cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and machine learning. His expertise covers strategic planning, sales leadership, data-driven decision-making, and risk management. Sunil has earned certifications from prestigious institutions such as MIT and Kathmandu University. Throughout his career, he has held executive roles in leading banks, driving digitization initiatives and achieving significant successes. Currently, he serves as the  Chief Executive Officer of Tisa Community Finance, which is set to become TISA Bank.

Naime O’Ome, Fellow CPA (PNG), Professional Member of PNGID, MPA, is a seasoned Business Consultant and Professional Accountant with over 28 years of experience in Papua New Guinea.
As Partner of SBC Solutions, he was previously employed by PwC he specialises in providing expert guidance to Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises and Corporate Companies. Naime’s extensive expertise includes financial accounting, corporate finance, taxation, and business advisory services, particularly in the extractive industries. He serves as a director for multiple companies and is actively involved in community leadership roles. Naime is committed to driving business excellence and social development in Papua New Guinea.

Ms. Kaman is a lawyer with over 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas. She spent eight years at ExxonMobil in Public and Government Affairs, managing strategic community investment programs. In 2018, she joined Mineral Resources Development Company as Manager Legal and Company Secretary to the Ok Tedi Group. Her legal expertise in commercial law, compliance, and dispute resolution has been complemented by management roles. Active in citizenship and civil society, she focuses on education, youth leadership, and economic empowerment. Valentina serves as Vice President of the Business Professional Women Club and Vice Chair of The Voice Inc. She also previously served on the board of PNG Transparency International.

She holds a Law Degree from the University of Papua New Guinea and a diploma in Petroleum Policy Management from Petrad, Norway and she is a member of the PNG Institute of Directors and the PNG Law Society.
