Capital Insurance Group, celebrates the successful launch of its presence in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville (AROB), marking a significant step in providing vital insurance services to businesses in the region.
The launch event witnessed an impressive turnout, demonstrating the enthusiasm of the local community for accessible insurance solutions. Capital has partnered with the Parent Company Teachers in Savings Association (TISA) with the overwhelming support of the AROB’s government to enable this operation. Capital is committed to making insurance services accessible to the people of Bougainville, and the establishment of this new branch underscores that dedication.
Chairman of the Board at Capital Insurance Group, Mr. Michael Koisen, thanked the Autonomous Bougainville Government (ABG) for supporting Capital in making insurance available to the AROB people and businesses. He emphasised on the strategic significance of the AROB branch and said that the launch is a marker in TISA’s partnership with Capital as its subsidiary. He continued by mentioning that the launch reflects Capital’s mission to support economic development and resilience in Bougainville and added that he is confident that the comprehensive insurance products will empower businesses in AROB to thrive and succeed.
Jeremy Norton, Group CEO of Capital Group, expressed his excitement about the expansion, stating, “We understand keenly the role that insurance plays in underpinning economic stability and growth, attracting investment and giving families and businesses some protection for their assets.” He further added that “we are grateful for the opportunity to bring the Capital promise to this part of the Pacific, and look forward to a long-term, successful relationship with the community here in AROB.”
In response to Capital Group’s expansion into AROB, the Vice President of the Autonomous Region of Bougainville, Honorable Patrick Nisira, expressed his gratitude stating “We warmly welcome Capital Group to AROB and extend our sincere appreciation for their commitment to serving our community. Their presence will undoubtedly support the insurance needs of businesses in our region and contribute to our economic growth.”
Capital will be co-located in the existing Tisa office in Buka offering insurance solutions such as business protection, workers compensation, motor and general liability to individuals and businesses. Customers will be able to visit in person, call or email to have their queries and questions resolved and discuss insurance options.
