Mr Michael Koisen, Group Chairman of the Capital Insurance Group of companies is pleased to announce the appointment of David Lee to the position of Acting Group Chief Executive Office.

Mr Lee previously held the position of General Manager within the firm and has extensive executive leadership experience leading to his appointment to the role of Acting Group CEO.

Capital Insurance Group is the largest Papua New Guinean-owned insurer operating in PNG and across the Pacific.  We have overseas operations in Solomon Islands, Fiji, Vanuatu and Tonga.  Capital offers a broad range of insurance products to serve the needs of businesses and communities in our chosen markets.  The Board has full confidence in Mr. Lee’s ability to implement the Board’s strategy for the business in the foreseeable future.

Mr Koisen in his announcement said, “The Board of Directors are confident in his abilities, expertise and experience to lead the team at this important time for the Group.”
