Rachel Amene was recently appointed as the Group Head of People and Culture. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from James Cook University, Australia, and a qualification in HR Management from Nanyang University, Singapore. She also holds a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and is a certified Real Peers Counsellor.
With over 24 years of experience in Human Resources (HR) and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Rachel has held key leadership roles, including People & Inclusion Manager at KPMG and HR Manager at Origin Energy.
Her notable contributions include leading health risk assessments for Shell Pacific, developing a Customer Service Program for Puma Energy PNG, establishing a Salary Structure at Origin Energy PNG, and implementing a Family & Domestic Violence Policy at KPMG PNG. With these diverse experiences, Rachel brings a valuable contribution that adds to the aspirations of the whole organization.
Rachel aspires to become a motivational speaker and enjoys hiking, fishing, and gardening.
